New Poll Reveals Double Digit Difference Between Sanders and Biden

New Poll Reveals Double Digit Difference Between Sanders and Biden

President Donald Trump retweeted more than five dozen messages in an hour Wednesday morning, most seeking to cast doubt on the support of firefighters for Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden.

Among 18-to-34-year-old Democrats, 49 percent said they were somewhat or much more likely to support a candidate under 40, while 28 percent said it did not matter.

Biden's lead extends across most every major demographic or political group, though it shrinks some among younger voters (31% Biden to 19% Sanders among those under age 45), liberals (32% Biden to 19% Sanders) and whites (29% Biden to 15% Sanders among white voters).

"I've done more for Firefighters than this dues (sic) sucking union will ever do, and I get paid ZERO!"

"I want to make no mistake about it, I'm a union guy", Biden said. In an effort to back up that claim, starting around 6:00 a.m. today (Wednesday) the President re-tweeted nearly 60 tweets from supporters claiming to be firefighters and IAFF members.

Privately, Trump has anxious for weeks about Biden's appeal to voters in the Rust Belt states that helped deliver the President's 2016 victory.

"I am a union man", Biden said during his first campaign rally, flanked by members of the firefighters' union. "They look at our record economy, tax & reg cuts, military etc. WIN!"

Sen. Tim Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential candidate in 2016, said, according to The Hill: "Clearly, Vice President Biden bugs the president".

"The president has a motto: 'Make America Great Again.' Do you have one?"

"I'm sick of this President badmouthing unions", Biden wrote on Twitter.

"Secondly, to restore the backbone of America, which is the working class, the middle class, and this time we're going to bring everyone along and leave no one behind". The weekly tracking poll shows Biden with support from 36% of Democratic primary voters nationwide, a six-point bump from last week. "We need a President who honours them and their work".

Biden also saw his numbers increase in a Morning Consult poll Tuesday.

"I think most people just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace and maybe have a few extra bucks in their pocket", she said, calling out Democrats for their own questionable moral stances, specifically in Virginia. That means foreign policy will indeed be featured in the Democratic primary, something Biden's opponents within the party are already preparing for. Both Sanders and Warren are from states close to New Hampshire (Vermont and Massachusetts) and are perceived as having an advantage there.
