Ariana Grande Won't Attend Grammy's After Disagreement With Producers

Ariana Grande Won't Attend Grammy's After Disagreement With Producers

Ariana Grande could very well win her first Grammy on Sunday... but she won't be there to collect it!

Ariana Grande has been known to be a bit of a diva but ya know who tops her divaness? Her hit single, "Thank U, Next" saw the artist mentioning her four best-known exes by name, most notably Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson, to whom she was briefly engaged, and Mac Miller, who tragically passed away in 2018 not long after their breakup.

One new report claims that Ariana Grande and the team behind the awards show had a disagreement over her song choices.

'I do not want to do what people tell me to do, I do not want to conform to the pop star agenda. "And I'd love to get her in the show this year".

During an interview with Billboard a year ago, Ariana made it very clear that she is not a pushover in the industry. Dolly Parton will also take the stage to perform music from the Dumplin' soundtrack, and Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Katy Perry will pay tribute to Parton by performing some of her iconic songs.

Complicating matters, the show had been promoting Grande as a performer on social media. She felt "insulted" after producers initially refused to allow her to perform "7 rings", the latest single from her next album. Grande will release a new album, Thank U, Next, on Thursday night.

In a new interview with the Associated Press, Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich said that they had "multiple conversations" with Grande about performing but that Grande "felt it was too late for her to pull something together".
