Neville names 3 must-win games if Solskjaer wants job

Paul Pogba considered leaving Manchester United towards the end of Jose Mourinho's tenure, but is much happier since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over, his brother has said.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continued his unbeaten start as boss after Marcus Rashford's early goal, on his 100th United appearance, sealed a ninth win in 10 matches under the Norwegian. That's a massive game for us because Chelsea are playing (Manchester) City.

Things have changed a hell of a lot since December, when Mourinho's 3-1 loss to Liverpool saw him lose the job, and after ten games in a row unbeaten Solskjaer is suddenly being talked about as the leading candidate for the job long term.

Rashford can make himself Manchester United's centre-forward - they don't need to go and buy anyone else, he's your centre-forward that can take you to a title or a Champions League.

The Spaniard, who admitted that "everyone feels free" since Solskjaer's arrival 49 days ago, insists the competitive nature of the Premier League is too great to think the new manager won't be beaten at some stage. They have a manager they can believe in and in Rashford and Pogba they have two players who could dominate the Premier League for years to come. That's what's good. Paul, Marcus (Rashford), even myself when I play, I try to bring something to the team, Anthony (Martial).

Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Luke Shaw were all brilliant in defence, while the attacking players seemed happy tracking back and helping out their teammates.

"If you'd have said to me when he got the job what the chances were as a percentage, I'd have said probably 25 per cent".

"But I have always said the same - if one day the manager decides to drop me I will be ready to help the team for 10 minutes, for two minutes, that's the only way a team can be successful".

Add to that the fact that David de Gea is back to his very best - as underlined by his display against Tottenham - and it is easy to see where Solskjaer's success has come from.
