Raiders QB Derek Carr challenges 'First Take' hosts to fight

ESPN's Max Kellerman may want to think twice the next time he has something to say about Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.

This all started with Kellerman's remarks regarding Raiders coach Jon Gruden's praise of National Football League draft prospect Kyler Murray, who declared earlier this month, despite already agreeing to a deal with the Athletics in MLB.

After Kellerman, a First Take host, raised doubts this week about whether the Raiders could acquire a viable player in exchange for Carr, the National Football League signal-caller responded by trying to set up a UFC-style fight with the host.

If you're a Raiders fan and a teammate of Carr's, you're probably proud that the generally quiet face of your franchise is taking a stand for himself. No line has been set for a potential Carr-Kellerman battle. But the first half of the season, he looked shell-shocked.

Carr even addressed his Twitter message to the UFC and its president Dana White.

For as long as journalists have covered sports; there have been athletes who take exception to their opinions.

What do you think of the feud between Carr and the First Take hosts? And Kyler Murray, if you could grab him in the draft, hell yea.

"Here's the question: why is he talking about getting ME in the octagon instead of a UFC fighter, @danawhite".

If the UFC idea doesn't work out, it sounds like Carr would also be willing to take a less violent route, which would involve watching film with Kellerman.
