How Meghan Markle Reacted to Stranger Calling Her 'A Fat Lady'

How Meghan Markle Reacted to Stranger Calling Her 'A Fat Lady'

The Duchess of Sussex, who is six months pregnant, was greeting people at the shelter when one woman exclaimed, "You're a fat lady!" while pointing at Meghan's growing baby bump.

The Duchess's grey marl figure-hugging dress matched the sombre London weather and gave a glimpse of her burgeoning baby bump.

Luckily, Meghan Markle was gracious about the comment and simply responded, "I'll take it".

Joining the group was Roobarb, one of the dogs who takes part in the therapy sessions.

On 10 January, Kensington Palace announced Meghan will become the patron of four different charities.

The duchess is a dog lover who supported various animal rescue centres in her home city of Los Angeles.

Mayhew is one of four organizations Markle has made a decision to devote her time and global influence to work with.

A far cry from yesterday's colourful ensemble, the Duchess of Sussex dressed in minimal hues for her first solo engagement of 2019.

Meghan was joined by Prince Harry on this occasion.

The charity was founded in 1886 and today sees itself as an animal welfare social worker, keeping cats and dogs, whether family pets or companions for the homeless, safe and well alongside their owners, and supporting communities.

One little Jack Russell called Minnie seemed to catch her eye, with Meghan picking her up for a cuddle.

Meghan is known for her love of dogs, and regularly posted pictures of her and her two pets on her Instagram page, before it was shut down.

Meghan Markle reacted to being fat-shamed for her pregnancy, and her response was classy AF.
