Frozen Features In Latest Kingdom Hearts III Screenshots

Yesterday, series creator Tetsuya Nomura announced that someone had leaked copies of the game.

Sometime over the weekend, footage and images of Kingdom Hearts III surfaced online, leading many to believe that retail copies of the game have leaked.

Kingdom Hearts III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure and support each other through hard times.

From the trailer, we know that the game touches on familiar themes like stolen hearts, worlds, destinies, and returning home. In addition, there's a couple of cheeky chipmunks, an extra-terrestrial lifeform and plenty of original Kingdom Hearts characters that you love, and love to hate.

Kingdom Hearts III director Tetsuya Nomura put out a response to the leaks on Twitter through the main Kingdom Hearts account. We are also aware as to how this all happened. Honestly, people are the worse. Hopefully major spoilers can be kept to a minimum.

Update: Kingdom Hearts 3 Director Responds to Reported Leaks

"We're sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release", he said.

The adjusted schedule may be related to last week's leaks that resulted from Xbox One copies of the game making their way into the hands of players a month ahead of the title's launch.

Visitors can also pre-order the game using kiosks, which is set for release on January 29 2019. Both the epilogue and a "secret movie" (reportedly the largest spoilers in the game) won't be released until later "just in case".

Hopefully, true fans will respect Nomura's wishes so that everyone can have a good experience.
