Turkey confirms Khashoggi was strangled, dismembered immediately after entering Saudi Consulate

Turkey is also calling for Saudi Arabia to reveal where the location of Khashoggi's body, with Riyadh claiming a local disposed of his remains. It recently acknowledged that Turkish evidence shows the killing was premeditated. In such circumstances, the Saudi Arabian authorities are responsible for this.

"Our second visit was full of hope and it was the last step to our union", she said. And today, even though Saudi authorities have admitted that there was a murder, it's not enough.

The Turkish president says a 15-person team travelled from Riyadh to kill Khashoggi, who had criticized Saudi Arabia's powerful Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, after he entered the Saudi consulate on October 2.

Saudi officials have said the kingdom will try the 18 and bring them to justice after the investigation is complete. Cengiz raised an alarm after Khashoggi failed to re-emerge from the Saudi consulate.

Prince Ahmed bin Abdelaziz, the youngest and only living brother of King Salman, has reportedly returned to the kingdom from London this week.

"Until Saudi Arabia officially announced his death, I never gave up hope that he was alive", Cengiz told BBC Arabic on Monday. "And who ordered and oversaw this grisly operation?" it said.

"It seems the Saudi prosecutor is trying to obtain the information in the hands of Turkey rather than share the information he has", Selvi wrote Wednesday.

The prosecutor's office also noted that no concrete results had come out of the meetings with Saudi Arabia's top prosecutor Sheikh Saud al-Mojeb in Istanbul, "despite the good intentions to uncover the truth behind Khashoggi's killing".

Turkey is seeking the extradition of 18 Saudi suspects detained in the kingdom in connection with the October 2 killing.

Turkey wants them to be extradited.

Meanwhile, the fiancee of Jamal Khashoggi has expressed displeasure at US President Donald Trump's response to the killing in Istanbul.

"We expect these questions to be answered swiftly", Gul told reporters.

Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, a younger brother of King Salman and uncle of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, arrived on Tuesday after more than two months overseas, three sources told Reuters.
