Demi Lovato Will Go to Rehab After She's Released from Hospital

Demi Lovato Will Go to Rehab After She's Released from Hospital

Unnamed sources told TMZ Thursday and People Friday that the singer will begin treatment immediately after she is discharged. "Demi was very sick and her family did not want to upset her with something that might trigger conflict".

According to the website, the former Disney star's personal assistant screamed "she's dead" after finding the singer at her home, and one of her bodyguards gave her some form of first aid as it seemed like she wasn't breathing.

Reveaing that Demi is nearly ready to leave hospital and transfer straight out to a rehab facility, another source added, "She's getting out any day now".

More sources have apparently come forward claiming that Demi's family raised the issue of rehab with the singer directly, but waited until she was in the clear with her health.

Cape Town - Demi Lovato has reportedly agreed to enter rehab after allegedly overdosing on opioids.

Demi will go straight from Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles to the facility.

The pop star is now in the hospital, recovering from a drug overdose she suffered last week, and subsequent complications.

But it turned out that when she was in a sober-living situation, she still had an active eating disorder and was drinking vodka and using cocaine, she told "Access Hollywood" in 2013. "He visits Demi every day he can, and has spent hours with her and her family".

"Right now everyone is focused on getting Demi physically healthy", a source close to Lovato told People a few days ago.
