India vs Ireland 1st T20I Live Streaming on Sony Six

India vs Ireland 1st T20I Live Streaming on Sony Six

If India win their matches against Ireland and England and other results go their way then they can get a major boost in the worldwide standings.

The first of the two T20Is matches will be played at Malahide Cricket Club Ground or The Village in Dublin on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. The match can also be streamed live on the SonyLiv app.

However, the 2nd wicket partnership between KL Rahul and Suresh Raina added some valuable runs for India.

The pace battery will most likely be led by the established duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah even as Umesh Yadav will be eager to be back in the shortest version for India for the first time since 2012.

Ireland: Gary Wilson (c & wk), Andrew Balbirnie, Peter Chase, George Dockrell, Josh Little, Andy McBrine, Kevin O'Brien, William Porterfield, Stuart Poynter, Boyd Rankin, James Shannon, Simi Singh, Paul Stirling, Stuart Thompson. The English summer is going to be a big test for the Asian giants who have dominated across all three formats over the last few years. Rohit Sharma's stint in the middle order ended in a blob.

It's the dress rehearsal before the actual test but India would do well not to let the guard down when they take on a lowly but effervescent Ireland in a two-match T20 rubber, starting tomorrow.

Joining Dhoni on the sidelines were Shikhar Dhawan and, as expected, the two opening bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Moreover, he also mentioned that the players in the squad, who didn't get an opportunity in the first contest, will get a chance in today's encounter.

India will begin their preparation for England tour by playing two T20Is against Ireland.

Predicted playing XI: Kohli (c) Rohit, Dhawan, Rahul, Raina, Dhoni (wk), Pandya, Kuldeep, Chahal, Umesh, Kaul.

Perhaps it was a marker of this crucial impending assignment that India chose to stay on and practice in London on Monday.

On the bowling front, Kohli will be tempted to field both leg-spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, giving them an early taste of conditions here.
