Ronaldo victor sends Morocco crashing out of SWC

Ronaldo victor sends Morocco crashing out of SWC

The FIFA World Cup 2018 Match-18 between Portugal vs Morocco is going to be played at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow.

He scored a hat trick against Spain including an unbelievable bending free kick with minutes left in the match to secure a 3-3 draw.

Portugal coach Fernando Santos insisted there will be no complacency from his players against Morocco after the heavyweight battle with Spain, the 2010 World Cup winners.

After scoring three goals in Portugal's first match against Spain - a 3-3 draw - Cristiano Ronaldo is on for an encore against Morocco. "Not only in terms of the last match but his career as a whole".

"I´m very happy, it´s a nice personal record to have, one more in my career", Ronaldo said on Tuesday.

If Morocco is to have any hope at getting out of the group, it needs what appears to be an improbable result against the reigning European champion.

The Atlas Lions manager Renard admits it could be hard for his side to contain Ronaldo as the North African nation look to bounce back from their opening game defeat. But they were made to work extremely hard by Morocco in the end.

Now, you all should know that Sony has acquired the telecast rights of all FIFA events for Indian subcontinent and India till 2018 and Sony Ten 2 and Sony Ten 3 TV channels will live telecast FIFA World Cup 2018 in India, including all the World cup matches.

Iran kicked off their campaign with a 1-0 win against Morocco, thanks to a late own goal by Aziz Bouhaddouz, piling the pressure on Spain at Kazan Arena on Wednesday.

Coach Carlos Queiroz concedes Iran now face one of the biggest challenges in their World Cup history, but maintains they can "make the impossible possible".

Russian Federation is the lowest FIFA ranked side at the event, but two games in they are top of their group with six points and are poised to qualify for the next stage. Renard said he was still smarting from the disappointment but said that the players alone were not to blame.

Morocco is in must-win mode if it wants to reach the knockout stage of the tournament. The match starts at 20:00 on 20 June 2018.

After a goalless first half, Ahmed Fathi scored an own goal before Denis Cheryshev struck and Artem Dzyuba added a third.
