Warriors on verge of sweeping Cavs in NBA Finals

Warriors on verge of sweeping Cavs in NBA Finals

The Golden State Warriors' Game 3 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday averaged 17.9 million viewers, according to ratings released Thursday afternoon. As the Cavaliers called timeout, a silent Durant slowly walked while staring at the opposing crowd as teammates Curry and Draymond Green screamed in excitement for him.

"We've had an opportunity to win two of these games in this series and we haven't come up with it", James said.

CLEVELAND - For nine years, Kevin Durant played wonderful games against LeBron James, his growth over the years moving alongside James' own development as one of the game's greatest ever.

For the first time in the NBA Finals, the Warriors had their Hamptons Five (nee "death lineup") at their disposal, as Andre Iguodala returned to action for the first time since the Western Conference finals.

So James departed the Cavaliers in 2010 to form a superteam in Miami with pals Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and won two titles in four finals in four seasons. They're already more talented than you are.

As Warriors backup point guard Shaun Livingston was walking to the locker room after the game, he yelled: "That's the way to take all the air out of the building". "You just can't have mistakes".

"I think we all support each other in real - with a real child-like approach to the game", he said.

Nearly a year to the day of last year's Game 4 loss, Durant and the Warriors can redeem themselves if they sweep the Cavaliers on Friday night.

Golden State will now have four chances to wrap up its title starting with Game 4 on Friday night. In sum, he scored a game-high 43 points on 15-of-23 shooting from the field (including 6-of-9 from beyond the 3-point line), and collected 13 rebounds - and every single one for the Warriors in the first quarter.

But when the Warriors' system fails, Durant is the lifeboat - one they didn't have in 2015 and 2016, when the offense revolved around Curry. Curry continued to struggle to find his shot and Durant began to shoot wildly in an attempt to shoulder the load. "I want a [championship]".

"Tonight will be tough", said James, who scored 33 and rolled his right ankle in the first half. He rewarded Lue with 15 points and a strong game. "I've just got stay locked in". Curry looked frustrated as he tumbled to the floor and forward Green growled at officials as both he and Curry picked up three fouls in the first half - with Green adding a technical for an early scuffle with JR Smith. The Warriors are on their fourth appearance, and they got better after their second with the addition of Durant.
