Police search for suspect in Fairfield gas station robbery

Investigators with the Crime Scene Investigations Unit and Homicide Unit responded to the scene and began gathering evidence and searching for witnesses.

Both men were wearing balaclavas covering their faces and displayed handguns during the robbery.

If they complied, nobody would be hurt, the note said.




According to court documents, a clerk told Jonesboro police officers the suspect, who he knows as "Tobi", waited for other customers to leave the store and then approached the counter. Two people were seated in a auto when an unknown suspect approached the vehicle, opened one of the doors and pointed a firearm at one of the occupants.

The first suspect is described as Caucasian, average height with a slim build. He was wearing a red Adidas jacket, white hooded sweatshirt, black trousers, orange gloves and a black balaclava covering his face.

The second suspect is also of average height with medium build. He was dressed in a blue and white colored plaid button down long sleeve shirt, tan trousers, light-colored baseball cap and a fake brown beard. In part, Cohen pointed to a phone call between Daniel's brother, Jashua, and his mother that led police to obtain search warrants.
