Donald Trump says he would never sexually harass a woman 'in public'

Donald Trump says he would never sexually harass a woman 'in public'

President Donald Trump lashed out Tuesday at a woman accusing him of sexually assaulting her in Trump Tower, tweeting that he had "never met" her. "Never happened! Who would do this in a public space with live security cameras running?"

A report from The Hill revealed that in December 2017 that a women's rights lawyer had tried to arrange donors and other media outlets to provide compensation to women who accused Trump of sexual misconduct, which resulted in one unidentified victim having her mortgage paid off.

In the same Times report, Trump defiantly denied the allegations: "None of this ever took place", he told the paper, which noted that he "began shouting at the Times reporter who was questioning him" and "said that The Times was making up the allegations to hurt him and that he would sue the news organization if it reported them".

After one of his accusers - Rachel Crooks, who is now running for state representative in OH - appeared in The Washington Post on Monday, POTUS got mad.

A weekly recap of the top political stories from The Globe, sent right to your email. As Saslow notes, Crooks's description also fits with Trump's own words, as recorded on the Access Hollywood tape released in October 2016: "You know, I'm automatically attracted to beautiful women".

"I know there are many worse forms of sexual harassment, but doesn't this still speak to character?" she told the Post. He was talking to me in between kisses, asking where I was from, or if I wanted to be a model. Trump said the remarks was nothing more than "locker room talk" at the second presidential debate and said he never kissed or groped women without consent. She describes Trump first grabbing her hand, then kissing her on the cheek and then the lips. "You did absolutely nothing wrong", she said. I just start kissing them.

'And when you're a star, they let you do it. "Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign", he said in October 2016. She saw her departure from NY as "one of the first real failures or defeats of my life, where the world wasn't what I hoped it was going to be, and I started to really doubt myself", she told Saslow. Now 35 years of age, Crooks is now running for state legislature in OH as a Democrat, in House District 88. I was so upset I couldn't focus.

In the article, Crooks doesn't say it happened in the lobby of Trump Tower, but outside her company's offices.

Crooks and two other women were featured on NBC's Today and held a news conference in NY in December.

Trump has repeatedly denied all allegations. "I lost friends, clients - that donation helped me to survive", Harth said.
