This photo provided by the Santa Barbara County Fire Department shows a home that has been buried in flood debris in Montecito, Calif., Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018.

The family of two adults, a seven-year-old boy, a three-year-old girl, and a baby were rescued from the debris of their home earlier today.

DeGeneres also posted how she loves "being part of the Montecito community".

Both companies offer trips northbound from the Ventura Harbor, at 1415 Spinnaker Dr., and southbound from the Santa Barbara Harbor, at 301 W. Cabrillo Blvd.

The road is in an area where rescuers are searching for people who may have been trapped.

At least 13 people have been killed, and more than 150 have been taken to hospital.

Forecasters said the maximum rainfall occurred in a 15-minute span starting at 3:30 a.m. near the Montecito, Summerland and Carpinteria areas of Santa Barbara County. He also spoke about the damage.

Officials are warning that the death toll is likely to rise. Twenty-eight injuries have been reported.

Last month's wildfires, including the Thomas Fire, which became the largest in California history, left the area vulnerable to mudslides. Several homes were swept away before dawn Tuesday when mud and debris roared into neighborhoods in Montecito from hillsides stripped of vegetation during the Thomas wildfire.

Search teams have worked around the clock, locating the dead, rescuing others and evacuating those who were simply stuck in homes but otherwise unharmed.

The man, who has not been identified, was found dead inside the vehicle.

"Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown said that emergency services are now ". focused on determining if anyone is still alive in any of those structures that have been damaged".

A storm that slammed a California coastal community is over.

Those numbers could increase when the search is expanded Wednesday and search-and-rescue teams reach new areas.

Winfrey posted a video on Instagram showing her wading through almost knee-deep mud on her Montecito property.
