Disneyland Experiences Power Outage

Disneyland Experiences Power Outage

Watch Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland transform for the holidays before your eyes " We've determined that the issue is with a Disneyland Resort transformer and our team is now assessing and working to restore power", the statement read.

Rides affected include Toontown, Fantasyland, and the Monorail.

A power outage was reported to have affected about a dozen rides in the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California, on December 27.

The outage is now affecting the Toontown and Fantasyland sections of the park, with crews working furiously to restore power. A spokesperson didn't know whether crowd size caused the issue.

"PARKS UPDATE: Disneyland Park is now only accepting Guests for re-entry at this time". The park's Twitter account said in a post Wednesday afternoon that the park was only accepting re-entry guests. The outage occurred at a busy time during the park's holiday season. Disney California Adventure Park remained open, however.

Geoff Fienberg, who was on the "It's a Small World" ride when the outage happened, told CNN it wasn't much of an ordeal after the ride stopped.
