Patriots and Cowboys make statements regarding Terry Glenn

According to reports, former National Football League player Terry Glenn died early Monday morning in a vehicle crash.

Glenn played for the Buckeyes from 1993-1995 and had a breakout season in his third year.

Over a 12 year long career in the NFL, Glenn had played for the Patriots, Packers and Cowboys, according to the New York Daily News.

Terry Glenn, the wide receiver who caught Tom Brady's first ever touchdown pass, has died at the age of 43.

Glenn eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards on four occasions - including 1,132 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie and 1,047 yards and six touchdowns in 2006, his last full season.

But, his time in Wisconsin didn't last long and he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys only a year later.

Glenn died early Monday morning after being involved in a vehicle accident in Texas. "Overcame a ton of adversity to become an excellent person". He made the Pro Bowl in 1999 as a member of the Patriots.

"One of my favorite memories came when we hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in the divisional playoff game", Kraft continued. It will always be remembered for the fog that filled Foxboro Stadium that day.

"We are all terribly saddened by this news of his passing", Jones said.

After the news broke, there was an outpouring of prayers and thoughts for Glenn's family.
