In addition to indecent assault and battery, Wopat is facing a possession charge.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, a woman on the set claims the actor walked up to her during rehearsals at the Reagle Theatre and she felt his hand grab her derriere and his fingers slide between her butt cheeks.

Further information was not immediately available.

Actor Tom Wopat arrived at the 62nd Annual Tony Awards in NY in June 2008.

Police reportedly pulled the actor over in his Ford Bronco after an active search, TMZ reported.

He was arraigned on the charges hours before he was scheduled to open in a production of "42nd Street" in Waltham on Thursday night, the paper said. The theater said the show will go on Thursday afternoon, with Wopat performing.

He told police that he buys cocaine "in large quantities and uses it over time", the court documents said.

Wopat, who's from NY, inappropriately touched the woman on July 23, prosecutors alleged.

He is expected to be performing Thursday night in the "42nd Street" production.

Wopat has worked steadily on stage and screen since the "Dukes of Hazzard", including a role in the A&E drama "Longmire".
