Rumour: "New iPad Pro 10.5" coming next month

Rumour:

The 10.5 inch iPad Pro tablet will have slimmer bezels, to keep the dimensions closer to that of the 9.7 inch iPad Pro.

At the next WWDC Apple will unveil not only the software - iOS 11, macOS 10.13, watchOS 4 and tvOS 11. A new rumor is making the rounds that suggests that Apple will be launching an new iPad Pro tablet in June at its annual WWDC reports BGR.

The device may also debut Apple's screen-based fingerprint reader and home button, though it seems unlikely the company would bring it to the iPad before the iPhone 8.

YouTube/ AppleThe Apple iPad Pro (shown in the picture) is said to pale in comparison to the up and coming Apple iPad Pro 2.

Apple maybe planning on releasing its ipad pro 2 very soon.

As per a Japanese blog Mac Otakara, the upcoming Apple iPad Pro 2 is expected to come packed with four speakers.

Will Apple release another tablet within the same calendar year?

This was reported on Saturday KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, citing several anonymous sources.

Presumably, price of 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be higher than the standard models. However, if the company does launch the device, then don't expect the 9.7 and 12.5 inch iPads to receive an upgrade alongside. The new design should improve the user experience and help gain traction in the corporate/ commercial sectors. While unconfirmed, rumors now suggest that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 would feature a revolutionary edge-to-edge display and an embedded fingerprint sensor. "We forecast 10.5" iPad shipments of 5.0-6.0mn units in 2017F, accounting for 15 percent of total 2017F iPad shipments". Apart from this, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 is speculated to feature an improved camera module and water resistance capabilities.

Talking about the design aspect, the tablet is tipped to sport an entirely new look. And just like the iPhone 7, the latest iPad Pro might also be resistant to both dust and water. The last two slates from Apple have all been 9.7-inch machines and experts believe that a bigger tablet is due.
