Suspect in Boston penthouse slayings has criminal history

Suspect in Boston penthouse slayings has criminal history

They were bound by the wrist, with their throats slit. He also was reportedly allowed to enter the apartment by the couple.

Multiple charges are expected against Teixeira, according to police.

A couple found brutally slain in their high-rise penthouse were identified on Saturday as respected doctors in Boston, police said.

Dr Richard Field and his fiancé Dr Lina Bolanos.

Responding officers confronted an armed man inside the building. After murdering them, the attacker Bampumim Teixeira tried to fire at the police, who missed the shots and fired back at him. Teixeria was only able to let out one shot, according to police. He was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspect suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a Boston area hospital. Both were found in the 11th floor condominium.

Evans says the victims apparently were residents of the building. Jake Wark, a spokesman for Suffolk district attorney Daniel Conley, said he did not know what charges Teixeira would face, but Evans told local media that two murder charges were likely. "He had nothing to lose". On Friday night, in an act of desperation and fear, Dr. Blood coated the wall, the paper added.

His ex-girlfriend reportedly told the Globe that Teixeria was a former security guard and had just finished a nine-month sentence for two bank robbery-related convictions.

The incident happened Friday night in a high-end apartment building on Dorchester Avenue in Boston. This all went down in South Boston, Massachusetts. The two doctors were engaged to be married, CBS Boston reports.

Richard Field, 49, was a career anesthesiologist and doctor at North Shore Pain Management, housed at 900 Cummings Center.

According to NSPM, Field "was instrumental in starting the interventional pain program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Our deepest thoughts are with his friends and family", North Shore Pain management said in a statement. His tragic and sudden passing leaves an inescapable void in all of us. She was also an anaesthesia instructor at Harvard Medical School.

Bolanos was an anesthesiologist at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear hospital in Boston, its website said.

Bolanos and Field were both anesthesiologists. I'm a good bro, too.
