Watch The First Trailer For Netflix's "Dear White People"

Watch The First Trailer For Netflix's

In addition to probing modern racial tensions, the show also explores themes like interracial relationships and homosexuality among black men.

Remember when a bunch of people threatened to cancel their Netflix accounts because they were offended by the first Dear White People teaser?

Netflix has a new series in the works called "Dear White People" that satirizes "post-racial" America as students of color navigate a predominantly white Ivy League college.

Warning: The above promo might contain material sensitive to people who don't understand the term "white privilege".

Dear White People is created by writer/director Justin Simien, and adapted from his 2014 satirical comedy film of the same name. Similar to its first clip, which was released in February 2017, the new video opens with Samantha White (played by Logan Browning) addressing a caller on her "woke" radio station.

Much of the film's cast has changed from the series, but Simien, who wrote and directed the film, remained onboard and wrote every episode. We'll see the return of Brandon P. Bell as Troy Fairbanks, but the rest of the series' cast is different from the film's.

Dear White People will premiere on the streaming service come April 28.

Watch the full trailer below.

The series stars Browning, Antionette Robertson, John Patrick Amedori, Wyatt Nash, Marque Richardson and Jeremy Tardy.
