LG confirms the 'big feature' for the forthcoming V20 smartphone

LG confirms the 'big feature' for the forthcoming V20 smartphone

According to Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company, they will be working with ESS Technology who specializes in high-performance analog and audio devices.

The LG V20 will be officially unveiled on september 6.

LG on Thursday announced another feature reveal for its upcoming V20 smartphone. We also know that it will be called the V20. Now LG has just announced that the V20 will be the first smartphone to come with a 32-bit Quad DAC chip for enhanced audio capabilities.

The LG V10 received high praise from audiophiles for its stunning audio quality past year, so we're definitely excited for the V20. LG shared that the flagship will be the world's first to boast support for a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, which will bring premium audio experience to a smartphone. The digital to analog converter provides clear sound that can come close to a live performance when using compatible wired headphones.

Some renders have been published by Android Authority in association with @OnLeaks however, showing the V20 from a range of angles. As technology evolves, LG understands the importance of imbibing features that will lure consumers.

It has been confirmed that the LG V20 will feature a dual-camera setup on its rear, as we mentioned.

ESS Technology for its own part says that users will feel as if they're carrying around a professional home-audio system on their V20. Other specs of the V20 are said to include a 5.7in screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution, Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the news that the V20 will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Well, LG has certainly done a pretty good job with its flagship LG G5 earlier this year, but this does not mean that they are unable to move forward with whispers of the LG V20 set to arrive next month.

Audiophiles want everything to be ideal and one step to high quality audio and music is using a DAC.
